Read-only access

TickPro is designed as a read-only account and position viewer.

Depending on the provider, TickPro can retrieve:

  • Account balances
  • Open positions
  • Position direction and leverage
  • Entry price, mark price, and unrealized P&L
  • Provider and account connection status

A correctly configured read-only connection cannot:

  • Place, modify, or cancel an order
  • Transfer funds
  • Withdraw assets
  • Change exchange security settings

TickPro validates API credentials before saving them. It also checks reported permissions on supported connection paths, but the provider’s own permission page remains the final authority.

API credentials are transmitted over encrypted connections and encrypted before being stored by the TickPro server. Secret values are not returned to the app after they have been saved.

You can remove a connected account in TickPro at any time. You can also revoke or delete its API Key from the provider’s API management page, which immediately prevents further access with that credential.
